ABOUT HCMC MARATHON 2025
For us, running is not only about crossing the finish line, but it is rather about the journey – the complete experience of signing up and then running a marathon. The different sights and sounds in every kilometer along the race course will make the experience unique. The race course will give you access to the city wherein you will see how it integrated the old Saigon with the cosmopolitan and modern aspects of Ho Chi Minh City.

EXPECTED WEATHER
The temperature in January will reach the lowest point of the year, stay around 20°C- 27°C which brings a nice weather – a perfect chance for our participants to finish the race with a new personal record. More than that, the atmosphere is filled with breezing wind blowing all day long, the smell of many kinds of tropical flowers blooming during the spring and an excitement of an up-coming Tet. COLLECTING YOUR RACE KIT
The registration info and BIB number will be sent to runner’s email two weeks before the race day.
This will include your unique QR code that you’ll need to collect your race kit at the Hoa Lu Sport Center. Please check your inbox and also your spam box.
*ABOUT YOUR BIB NUMBER
Please look after your BIB number – you won’t be able to take part in the race without it.
On the back of your BIB number also contains your unique timing chip so please also keep it safe and make sure you fill in your medical information before the race date – this could save your life in an emergency.
BAG DROP SERVICE
The bag drop service will be open at the event site for all runners. We encourage you not to bring your personal belongings while participating to minimize the loss or damage, etc., and better not to take with you any bulky or valuable things.

1. The Bag Drop service will be closed when reaching its maximum capacity.
2. Non-preferred items for checked baggage: fragile items, valuable items, valuable business documents, electronic devices, cash, and similar items.
3. Organizers have the right to check your baggage if requested by the authorities or security
4. The organizer is not responsible for any damage, loss, or destruction of personal belongings while the bag is checked at bag drop

CUT-OFF TIME
Closure time counted from the Start time:
Marathon – 42KM: 6 hours 30 minutes.
Half Marathon – 21KM: 4 hours .
10KM: 2 hours.
*Notice:
Runners who cannot pass the cut-off points before the cut-off time will not be able to continue the race at no exception. As the route needs to be open again for locals and the health/safety of staff/volunteers needs to be ensured at the same time.

STATIONS
- There are stations at every 2 kilometers with water, electrolyte drink, fruits and aid supplies. The supplies are different at each station. More details in the course map.
- Water at stations is supplied in paper cups, please put them into the bin after use.
- At stations, there are big water bottles which you can use to refill your own bottle.

DROP OUT
Runners are unable to finish the race please reach the Stations along the course for assistance. There will be a bus picking up could-not-finish runners to the start line.
